Terms & Condtions

1. Services Provided

Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd provides bespoke glass services including, but not limited to:

Glass balustrades and frameless balustrades

Glass Juliet balconies

Internal glass staircases

Glass partitions

Kitchen glass splashbacks

Glass shower enclosures and screens

Bespoke fitted mirrors

All services are supplied on a made-to-measure basis unless otherwise stated.


2. Quotations

All quotations are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotations are based on information available at the time of survey or enquiry.

Any changes requested by the client after acceptance may result in a revised quotation.

Prices exclude additional work not specified in the original quotation.


3. Bespoke & Made-to-Measure Products

All bespoke glass products are non-refundable once manufacturing has commenced.

It is the client’s responsibility to approve drawings, measurements, specifications, and finishes before production.

Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd will not be held responsible for issues arising from approved specifications.


4. Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work commences.

The balance is payable upon completion of installation unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Late payments may be subject to additional charges or recovery costs.

Ownership of supplied materials remains with Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd until full payment is received.


5. Installation & Timescales

Installation dates are provided as estimates and may be subject to change due to manufacturing lead times, site conditions, or factors beyond our control.

Most installations are completed within one working day; however, larger or more complex projects may require additional time.

The client must ensure clear and safe access to the installation area.


6. Site Conditions & Preparation

The client is responsible for ensuring that all supporting structures (walls, floors, timber, steel, etc.) are suitable for glass installation.

Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd is not responsible for structural defects or failures outside of supplied glass systems.

Any additional work required due to unsuitable site conditions may be charged separately.


7. Compliance & Safety

All glass supplied is UK-compliant safety glass, including toughened or laminated glass where required.

Installations are carried out in accordance with applicable UK Building Regulations and British Standards, including BS 6180:2011 where applicable.

Final compliance remains subject to correct use and maintenance by the client.


8. Damage & Liability

Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd will take reasonable care during installation but is not responsible for pre-existing damage.

Any claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of completion.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.


9. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Orders cancelled after materials have been ordered or manufactured may be charged in full or in part.

Deposits are non-refundable once production has begun.


10. Warranties & Guarantees

Workmanship is guaranteed for a period agreed in writing at the time of quotation.

Manufacturer warranties apply to materials where applicable.

The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.


11. Force Majeure

Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, extreme weather, or unforeseen site issues.


12. Intellectual Property

All drawings, designs, images, and documentation remain the property of Sussex Balustrade Solutions Ltd unless agreed otherwise in writing.


13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
